OffReco helps with what falls outside that: meetings others host where you can’t enable their recording or AI, meetings beyond Zoom/Teams (Meet, Webex, phone, in person, LINE/FaceTime), and confidential meetings that can’t go to the cloud. No host rights or bot required — nothing leaves your Mac, and every meeting’s transcript lands in one place. It’s meant to run alongside, not replace.

In an output folder (default under ~/Documents, changeable) and a temp folder — only on your Mac. You can erase everything anytime with “Factory reset.”

Yes. OffReco never calls an AI itself, but you can generate minutes using your own ChatGPT or Claude. It prepares the transcript and a prompt in one tap, then saves the result as minutes.md (also synced with your project). With Claude Desktop it can be a single tap; with the web ChatGPT/Claude, two. Only the transcript is shared with the LLM — never the audio. The standard, formal, and technical-meeting templates are fully editable.

No. The first month is free with no card required, and you can try every feature. You only add a card (via Stripe, in the app) if you decide to continue.

Yes — local processing with no external transmission makes it suitable even when cloud upload isn’t allowed. Final approval is up to your organization’s policy.
